Who is maartin? Why is this site called maartin.org? *smirk*
Maartin is my digital name taken from my beautiful little cat Maartin.
The name originated from a friend of a friend in Sante Fe, New Mexico. He was very dutch,
thus the double a, and one of the most generous and all over nice guys I have met.
I named my cat after him. I needed a username for my account on the computer club machine at school and I couldn't think of anything. So I just chose maartin because I was thinking
about my cat and ever since it has stuck. I got the domain maartin.org for my birthday
a few years back and decided to make this website.
